Our name, Portia, comes from the goddess representing justice and opportunity, and is known to help those who want to balance their heart and their mind.
Inspired by the civil rights movement of 2020 and our talented community of artists, our vision is to create product collections that celebrate our diversity and our connection to each other. We want to be a bright light of opportunity and to empower through beautiful things.
We believe to create cultural change we need to develop content that draws people in through their heart and mind; allows them to be curious and contemplate; and to feel seen, heard and valued. For us, it’s not about checking the box, it’s about supporting and participating in a movement of positive change.
